Personal-Social Skills:

  • Does your child play alongside other children with some exchange of toys?
  • Does your child make choices when given the option of two items?
  • Does your child bring spoon to mouth and eat food off of it?

Cognitive Skills:

  • Does your child find an object after seeing it covered in three places and has not seen where it was left (systematic search)?
  • Does your child place round and square forms in a formboard (puzzle)?
  • Does your child experiment with unfamiliar objects to determine their function?

Communication Skills:

  • Does your child point to three pictures of animals or objects on request?
  • Does your child identify three body parts on request?
  • Does your child say "bye-bye" at appropriate times?
  • Does your child appropraitely indicate "yes" and "no" in response to questions?
  • Does your child imitate a variety of novel two-syllable words? (monkey, puppy, berry, flower)

Motor Skills:

  • Does your child imitate building a three-four block tower?
  • Does your child use a stick to obtain an object?
  • Does your child take independent steps, squatting to retrieve an object if desired?
  • Does your child roll a ball back and forth with an adult?
  • Does your child creep (crawl) up and down stairs?
