Personal-Social Skills:

  • Does your child play comfortably in a small group of children?
  • Does your child know her age? Tell or hold up fingers?
  • Is your child beginning to uses a fork?
  • Is your child urinating when placed on the toilet?

Cognitive Skills:

  • Is your child sorting by size (big and little) and shape?
  • Is your child independently nesting four containers or blocks of graduated sizes?
  • Does your child select pictures of action (eating, jumping, blowing)?

Communication Skills:

  • Does your child select pictures/objects that are the "same" or "like this"
  • Does your child use at least 50 words?
  • Does your child ask simple questions with a vocalization or gesture?
  • Does your child use auxiliary verbs, usually shortened (wanna, hafta, gonna)?

Motor Skills:

  • Does your child turn a doorknob with forearm rotation?
  • Does your child use a hammer to pound pegs into a bench?
  • Does your child pretend to write?
  • Does your child run 10-feet without falling?
  • Does your child walk along a 10-foot line following the general direction of the line?
